Greg has more than twenty five years of 'hands on' experience, overseeing information technology projects. In 1990 Greg work at IBM Canada as a member of the technical team. At IBM Canada Greg studied object-oriented, software development methodologies and recommended key changes to IBM Canada's software development process.
In 1992 Greg left IBM Canada to form Sentient Inc. with John Thomson and Andrew Sherwin. Sentient Inc. is a reseller of Association Management software and a network integrator. At Sentient Greg was responsible for technical sales and helped advance the information technology infrastructure of a number of Canada" largest professional and trade associations, including the Canadian Dental Association, the Life Underwriters Association of Canada and Girl Guides Canada.
In 1996, Greg left Sentient Inc. and worked as a project manager at IBM Global Services.
In 1999, Greg left IBM Global Services to co-founded Open Systems Group Limited with then business partner, Michele Doralp, to offer browser-based applications, database transaction systems and web services. Under the umbrella of Open Systems Group Greg has worked on a number of high profile accounts.
In 2001 Greg developed a sales reporting system for the Sun Media Corporation in Toronto, Ontario. In 2003 Greg developed a browser-based, database application for Herz Financial, located in Farmington, Connecticut. In 2005 Greg worked on an security compliance application for the London branch of Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC).
In 2005 and 2006 Greg oversaw the development of a browser-based, database application, implementing Motorola Excellence, an affinity program for the two-way radio division of Motorola Canada.
In 2008 Greg oversaw the development of the Communication Asset Management platform, Utilicom, version 3.0 on behalf of Digital Fairway. Digital Fairway is an independent software vendor, offering software products for the telecommunications industry.
Communications Asset Management platform enables customers to centralize, streamline and automate the complete lifecycle of managing and operating their WAN, Voice and Internet circuits, services and equipment.
Greg holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the School of Business & Public Administration at George Washington University in Washington , D.C. , and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the College of Arts and Sciences at Lehigh University in Bethlehem , Pennsylvania. While at George Washington University, Greg did his concentration in Science, Technology and Innovation.
