On October 28, 2009, the Ontario Soil & Crop Association (OSCIA) engaged Open Systems Group to develop an Active-X application to allow its field staff to upload sensitive documents. OSCIA is an NGO that oversees provincial stewardship grants to the producers within the Ontario agricultural sector. The web portal allows internal staff and external bodies to upload documents over a secure connection. The scope of the project included an administrative portal to manage the uploaded documents.
